Runoff Election for Railroad Commissioner
There will be a runoff election for Railroad Commissioner on April 8. This is important because the RRC does oil and gas leases and overseas water in the state of Texas. All the polling places will not be open. There will only be .... probably 7. So watch this space and watch the newspaper.

You did a great job. Letters will be in the mail in about 10 days to delegates and alternates. The county convention will be at the Lincoln Center on March 29 at 2 p.m. All meetings are open but if you are not a delegate or an alternate you cannot vote.
We will assign delegates to the state convention by proportion again.

The challenge now is to build on that momentum and elect a new governor in 2010. We also if we stick together can start electing county officials. So get ready and start thinking. WE have 2 commissioners and county judge and court type judges to elect.
