GREETINGS FELLOW DEMOCRATS!
The Brazos County Democratic Party County Convention
Reminder: The Brazos County Democratic Party County Convention is this Saturday at Kemp Elementary School in Bryan—1601 W. Martin Luther King St.
Delegates and Alternates should arrive around 1:00 PM so that they can sign in and be ready for the convention to start at 2:00 PM.
Wayne Sadberry will provide music during the sign in.
Parking: Main parking for Kemp is behind the school. Additional parking will be at Carver Elementary and at the Baptist Church across the street (unless they are having an event—no confirmation from them yet).
The convention is open to all Democrats—but if you are not a delegate and wish to volunteer, we have several opportunities available. Texas Democratic Women will be providing bottled water (for donations) and could use folks to help with this project. We will also have a t-shirt and Democratic memorabilia table which could use assistance, too. If you wish to be part of this volunteer crew, please call Linda at 690-0403.
At the end of the convention, we will also need dedicated individuals to help put up the folding chairs and do general clean up of our materials. We have no real idea what time this will happen but hope several wish to stay and help. Again, please call Linda, so we have an idea of who will be helping. 690-0403.
