Never registered to vote or need to check if you are registered?

Register to Vote

First step to voting, make sure that you are registered to vote. Follow the link below to find out if you are. For voter eligibility, check out the Secretary of State webpage.

Last day to register to vote is October 11.

Update Voter Registration

If you are registered to vote in Texas but need to update your name or address, use the link below.  

If you cannot locate your VUID#, you can find it by entering your name, county, and DOB in the Secretary of State's "My Voter Portal."

Vote by Mail

An application to vote by mail can be printed at home, or you can request one be sent to you using the link below. The last day for applications to be received by the Elections Office is October 28. You can track the status of your application or your ballot here.

How do I vote by mail?

Be sure to include as much information as possible. We encourage voters to include both their driver's license and the last four of their social, along with a phone number in case the Elections Office has questions. Remember to sign your carrier envelope!
