REGISTER VOTERS
Before voters can vote, they have to be registered. Becoming a VDR (Volunteer Deputy Registrar) only requires about an hour to complete the training and can be done in person or online.
In-person in Brazos County
Voter registration training is typically scheduled the third Tuesday of the month. To register for one of the Brazos County monthly in-person training sessions, call (979-361-5773) by close of business the Monday before the training, so that enough training materials can be prepared.
Online Training through Travis County
The most convenient way to be trained is through the Travis County online training program. You can register for that training here.
Once you have received your VDR certificate in the mail from Travis County, you simply have to show it at the Brazos County Elections office to become certified in Brazos County and pick up your book of registration forms.
